👾ARCA NFTs

ARCA NFT stands for Animated Representative Character Accounts. They are one of the most fascinating elements of Arcade Finance. They are built on top of the ERC-721, ERC-20, and EIP-6551 token standards and allow users attach one token to an ARCA NFT.

From a visual perspective, these NFTs represent unique 3D anthropomorphic characters, with an anime inspired design style. However, on-chain they function as their own smart contract wallets, enabling users to interact with the Arcade Finance ecosystem.

Acquiring ARCA NFTs

In order to obtain an ARCA NFT, users must ape into an ARCA Loot Box, paid for in a variable amount of ARCADE. They can also be traded on the open market; however, the seller must pay a fee in ARCADE when their ARCA is transferred.

Universal Trait Seeds & Skill Randomization

ARCAs feature a unique, modular trait randomization feature designed to scale with the game. We use this to set their appearance of ARCAs and their in-game functionality.

ARCAs have their own unique skillsets, randomly generated traits which effect the yield they earn from the various Arcade Machine Vaults and Coin Pusher Machines. For example, an ARCA might be received as a gift while playing the stETH Arcade machine, with a skill level of 90 but poor at farming BRR/ETH liquidity on the coin pusher, with a skill level of 45.

These traits are generated using randomized values given to the NFT upon mint, called Universal Trait Seeds and an algorithm inspired by BIP-32. We also randomize the 'paths' of newly created traits - to prevent unfair manipulation of the system.
