🎟️The Lottery

Arcadefi incentivises active participation through it's lottery mechanisms, fun Arcade machines that give users a wide array of prizes, including :

• ARCA Wearables

• oBRR

• ARCADE

• PWRUPs

Post TGE, a segment of protocol fees contributes to the lottery pool in the form of ARCADE. The amount of prizes allocated towards the Lottery will be determined by a variable which will also take into account the fees that the protocol collects.

Some of the reward pool will be allocated to a lottery designed to reward those actively participating in the Arcade ecosystem to get free tokens.

Free Lotteries (mini-games)

From mainnet-beta onward, we will invite users to take part in our free lotteries, these will involve players completing a mini-game - located on an arcade machine on the map.

Getting a higher score improves their odds of getting a higher prize, however, all participants are entered in the draw.

During the beta phase, we will introduce the following lottery prizes :

• oBRR

• Wearable

• ARCADE redeemable on TGE

Entry is tied to each ARCA, at one entry per draw, however, users replay the game an unlimited number of times to get a higher score.

$ARCADE Staking Lottery

Following TGE, we will introduce $ARCADE staking lotteries, which serves a variable yield for staking ARCADE tokens - rewarded to active participants.

To participate in the lottery, players make lottery ticket by locking ARCADE tokens and interacting with the Lottery Machine - which gives out prizes weekly.

Everyone Wins

Unlike like a normal lottery, all participants receive their deposit back. This makes the lottery more akin to systems as PoolTogether, however, we use a different approach to distribute prize money.

Instead of there being fixed prizes given to randomly selected ARCAs, an ARCA's prize is calculated based on combining their lottery ticket, and the lottery result to produce a prize weighting. This is combined with square root of their locked amount, to calculate their prize.

The lottery result is produced using a quantum random number generator. This process is designed to reward ARCADE holders for actively using the platform, with additional advantages given to players with lower balances - to even the playing field.
